Your order is shipped directly to you from the manufacturer. So there are no trips through distribution centers or warehouses.  All deliveries are made at no additional cost to you.  No hidden fees!  For most chairs you will be called, by the carrier prior to delivery, to schedule the delivery.  Delivery is a curb-side delivery where the driver removes the box from the truck and sets it nearby on the curb for your inspection and acceptance.  Please be prepared to bring it up to your home or building. 

 

Can I get an inside delivery?
Yes, for an additional fee we can arrange an inside delivery for a fee typically around $95, but it depends on your situation and is evaluated on a case by case basis. Please call us.
 

What about assembly?
All of our chairs are shipped directly to you from the manufacturer.  Harter manufactured chairs are shipped fully assembled.

If there is anything unclear, or if it appears that a client may need some guidance (with chair size, for example) we make it a rule to contact the client. What if My Shipment Arrives Damaged?
It is the manufacturer's responsibility to provide the furniture without damage.  It is the freight carrier's responsibility to deliver the furniture without damage.  It is your responsibility to fully inspect the furniture prior to your acceptance.  In the rare situation that you experience damage during your shipment, immediately indicate the damage on the delivery receipt prior to signing acceptance, accept the delivery and contact us immediately.  We will handle your situation immediately.

What is the Cancellation Policy?
All orders are considered firm and not subject to cancellation without our written prior approval which includes a Return Material Authorization number in advance from our Customer Service department.  If we are able to cancel your order before it is produced, labeled and/or shipped, there is not a charge for the cancellation, otherwise there is a 25% cancellation fee for expenses incurred.


What is the Return Policy?
Please contact us and we will assess your specific situation.  Returns do require written prior approval, which includes a Return Materials Authorization number and shipping instructions from our Customer Service department.  Authorized returns require the product to be new & resalable as new, including all original packaging, cartons, documentation, and warranty registration.  Authorized returns are subject to return shipping fees and possibly a restocking charge.  Refunds are not available on special custom orders such as Harter chairs.  We reserve the right to bill for shipping charges and fees on refused shipments that are not damaged.  Please let us know if we can be of assistance in selecting the right chair for your situation.
